When I was about 9 years old, I did not realize the lifelong effect hearing my cousin Roger play Proud Mary would have on me. Unaware of it at the time, he had planted the seed and the dream began. In high school, I moved to west Texas with my family. It was there that I saw a band called Madhouse.
I was hooked and followed them all over Texas. It was after I moved away from west Texas that I began taking keyboard lessons. However, I called Clark Findley, formerly in the group Madhouse, and my dream continued coming together.
This is my first attempt at doing this, but I did the best I could with the talent that I have. This is also why the CD is titled Rough.. Now here’s what 300 days, 10 months, and 118 hours in a small enclosed room sounds like... the result: just crank it up, because this is one kick-ass album.
