Award winning songwriter Eric Folkerth (yes it's his real name) finds metaphors in all sorts of life experiences: from Dinosaurs and Donut Shops, to the birth of his first child. Audiences and critics alike say Eric is a spellbinding storyteller.

Eric's first CD, Songs for the Time Being was recorded at Phattman Studios in Dallas, and was coproduced by the studio's owner, Clark Findley.

Eric is again working with Clark on his second CD, entitled, "Return." It features guest appearances from Billy Jonas and Rachel Bissex, as well as a host of other talented Dallas-area musicians. Expected release date in 2005

Honorable Mention in the 9th Annual Billboard Songwriter Contest
Honorable Mention in the Great American Song Contest.
It has also been part of a United Nations project, called "New Songs for Peace."
